When we started the staff was very polite and accommodating. Overtime we have become less of a family to them, and more of a Dollar Sign. We have watched the quality of management decline and the 'service' we received has followed. There have been great individual teachers, and our child has been treated well.nnAt the end of the day Honey Bear makes you feel like a consumer rather than a parent.

I went to honeybear as a child. I have four daughters now of my own. And three step daughters amd a grand daughter who is now 10 months old. I tryed to regerster my youngest daughter who is now one and a half . When we first met the owners,myself,child,and husband we fell in love with honeybear amd wanted my daughter to start there asap. However my child had gotten sick and caused us to miss two appts that were scheduled amd then one more time due to my youngest not being on the best of schedule yet so it causes her to sleep in some mornings. However on our last schedule appt time with the owners at honeybear for my daughters orientation i had to call to cancel our orientation. The owner,Kate was not very happy. I explained to her that my daughter unfortunately is not on the best of sleep schedule at night and sleeps in on mornings but i tryly loved her place amd wanted to make it work and if she could please just work it out with us so my daughter could get in there to start asap! Well she was not having that !!!! She basically told me NO! Then went on to tell me that her school was to prepare children for kindergarten,WHICH I totally got,but then told me thaty child would not be a fit nor work out due to her sleeping pattern and was not intersted in making it work out ! I emailed her back to tell her how upset i was over this because my husbamd and I are terrified of day care centers as it was already and being that i wemt there as a child gave me comfert for my child to go there and for her to ignore my last email amd not return my calls made me feel so hurt and bad about the situation that i got so discouraged i gave up looking for child care! However,I ended up getting over this amd now think i found a wonderful place that is welcoming and loving and understanding as a child care place should feel amd be . This place made me feel so bad about myself and child that no one should ever have to experience and for that i would not waste my time if i were you amd you have a similar situation as myself please save yourself the embarrassment and do yourself a favor and check this place of your list ! They put up a fake front like they care and love all children but thats not true they clearly pick and choose who they like and this place is nothing like it was when the older owner was there completely differrent !!!!

I had my son there for two days, the staff is completely rude! The owner of the school harassed my employment phone when I specifically asked her not to, the teachers act like they don't even truly want to be there. This is not worth your hard earned money in my opinion.

Not entirely sure what the previous review was about however, I couldn't disagree more! This place has not only met my expectations but exceeded them, and much of that has to do with the staff! Honeybear is one of the few preschools in the area that is NAEYC accredited. They have a great curriculum, follow strict nutritional guidelines, are affordable and have an amazing staff. The director Ms. Kathy has a great open door policy and really makes the families feel welcomed! My son WAS such a picky eater, after just a few months at Honeybear he asks for veggies at dinner!! He is learning to write his name at 3 and has such a thirst for learning it truly is refreshing! Your child will not just be another kid on the roster, he/she will be a member of the Honeybear family! Thank you for a great experience and making our family another extension of the Honeybear family!!
