Beardsley Park is a small park, it has a zoo inside the park, it also has two playgrounds for the kids. It is also good for cookout and parties. No place to swim it only has a pond. I really enjoyed the park especially my son. I haven't been to the zoo yet so I can't comment on that but one day I have to go there,many people from outside Bridgeport came by tho so it must be fun.
This zoo is a perfect family destination...with extremely friendly employees. The employees are mostly volunteers who love creation. Please consider supporting.
It’s a good place to take the kids to get out of the house during covid. They had many different animals to see. It’s a decent size. We wish kore was opened but we understood with everything happening. No one was on top of each other and was respectful of the rules
Came here yesterday with a friend of mine and his niece. Spent around 2 hours walking around. Decent selection of animals. Its definitely not a world-class zoo but they have a good variety of animals. Our favorite exhibit was definitely the 2 tigers. Both were wrestling and playing around. All of them were active and moving around. Good sightlines for all of the exhibits.
Would be 5 star but to many exhibits closed to really give honest review.
