It’s a nice place for a dog walk. Even just for a nice family jaunt through a peaceful setting away from large groups of people. Lots of tree cover. The boardwalk section though is completely exposed to the sun the entire length. Beware of the poison ivy just on the edge of the walkway. Especially if you have little rambunctious explorers. Colorful Dragonflies abound. There are a lot of trees that have fallen right in the walkway though due to the big storms we’ve had (August 2020). My dog and I had no problems going around, over or under them. Hopefully the town will come clear these quickly.
This is a nice place to walk and not too crowded. It's about a mile loop.
A very peaceful place to walk
Great for kids and pups. Around a mile long depending on how you do the trail. A bit of poison ivy around. It's a beautiful walk!
If you are looking for a nice easy walk with your dog , then this is the place to go! Nice wildlife as well.
