The self defense class we took was not only informative, but also fun!! I definitely recommend Kyoshi Bagwell for all things martial arts, wellness, and good times!

My son and I have been students at Bagwell Academy for about a year now and have both benefited tremendously. My son is learning self-defense in a safe environment with a lot of support (and a lot of padding) he is enjoying the sport, the people and along the is way becoming more prepared for the greater world where not everyone will have his best interests at heart.nnI can't recommend Bagwell Academy and Herbie Bagwell Jr. enough.nnHe works hard to help every child reach their full potential in the sport and through the sport learn important lessons that will positively impact other aspects of their lives.

Kyoshi Herbie Bagwell IS one of the best MARTIAL ARTISTS on the East Coast. Kids, Families are so fulfilled because of his anoitednes to teach others!

I absolutely loved it and I regret quitting everyday. The 4 years I was there were the best of my life. I recommend it ove any type of karate scholl ever. If you're looking for a place for taekempo go here.Bagwell Academy of Martial Arts has the best karate education. I quit because I wanted to only do basketball which was a bad and good choice. It was good because I got better at basketball but then its bad because now I love sparing,mma,ufc and etc. This school was the best thing that's ever happened to me. It has the nicest people there and Herbie Bagwell was the nicest of all. I feel honoured that I got to see him go from a sensi to a shihan to a renshi to a kioshi. The 4 years I was there were so amazing. I recommend it to anyone. I never went to the Zumba class or boot camp but I watched them and they were good.
