Weir Farm National Historical Park

Wonderful, beautiful place to visit. The only National Park dedicated to painting. The Ranger who greeted us at the visitors building was so happy and welcoming! She even posed in her official uniform and hat with us. There is a very informative film and tour as well as walking trails to a beautiful lake. A must visit!

If you want to see this National Historical Park you would want to go during summer. Otherwise you will find everything closed. There is a lot of trails around the area for a hiker to enjoy. I'm more into the history side of the parks so I view it differently. However, the structures and landscape from the outside was pretty neat.

Beautiful area! Liked that even though visitor centers are closed, brochures and the park passport stamp was available for guests. Lovely grounds!

The grounds are beautiful, the gardens have incredible stone/rock walls , buildings are well maintained and interesting to view. The rangers are knowledgeable and willing to explain the history of what a visitor will see. Highly recommend visiting this National Park.
