My son has attended the Wise Learning Center for the past two years. He has found this as the ideal tutoring situation because his tutor works with him in all of his high school subjects. So he doesn't have to go to one tutor for one subject and another for a different subject. In addition they help him look at proactively planning for big projects / papers, study skills, and communicating with his teachers. His grades definitely improved and he not only got into his first choice college but he has also learned the skills needed to be successful in that setting. Highly recommend the Wise Learning Center.
Wise Learning is phenomenal!! My daughter's teachers taught her the skills that she needs in order to be successful in high school and college. I have recommended Wise Learning to others and they have been equally impressed. I only wished I had found Wise Learning earlier!
My high schooler took an ACT prep class here. This class was a complete waste of money and time. Tests scores were great because tester gave same questions over and over. Test strategies are basic and not helpful. IF YOU WANT SCORES TO GO UP, DO NOT TAKE A CLASS HERE. We are paying for another class now.
I've been taking my daughter for the last month to the Newtown location. Her tutor/teacher is wonderful. My daughter is very fond of her. She has been making progress in her abilities to retain information that is useful towards normal school day curriculum especially in math. The staff in general has been great. Very reasonable and even accommodating at times with slight delays due to weather and traffic! Will definitely be back for some more
Working with Wise has removed the drama of homework from our home. We have seen wonderful improvement on grades as well. Nancy is so pro-active on working on topics beyond homework to make sure that key study skills are obtained. Emily makes sure that we have regular feedback sessions so we can focus on what really matters as the school year progresses.nnIt's been a joy working with Wise and I would highly recommend them.
