Very nice people and nice environment. Our three kids all started with pre-Suzuki program and then moved on to play piano. All three of them play piano beautifully. We are very happy with the Suzuki program and approach. All the instructors there (Paul, Helen, Trish, Andy) are committed to the program and they do a wonderful job teaching the kids. They are able to work with all levels and all ages. It is a fantastic place to get kids of any age exposed to music!
One of the best decisions I ever made for my two boys! Real music taught by real musicians. This place is an absolute gem!!
Very nice program, our teacher, Paul, is very patient and competent in dealing with kids. My two boys are both listed in their piano class, and we are very happy with their progress.
I highly recommend the Suzuki music school in Newtown! My seven-year old daughter joined the pre-Suzuki music program at the age of 3 and started her piano lessons at 4 & violin at 6. The instructors here are extremely talented and skilled, making her lessons interesting and keeping her motivated. They follow the Suzuki philosophy of parental involvement and always offer various suggestions so I can support her at home. Under their guidance my daughter is building a strong foundation in music, not only playing the instruments but reading music, understanding theory and being able to perform confidently in recitals. My daughter especially loves the group lessons where she gets to play with other students of her age while observing & learning from them. This is undoubtedly one of the best decisions we have made for her!
The Suzuki Music School is a wonderful school filled with supportive and nurturing professionals. It’s a perfect environment for musicians of all ages!
