Golden House Chinese Take-Out

We had an extraordinary experience at this place. We liked the excellent environment and the food. The waiters are very amiable. I’m happy we ultimately decided to eat here.

Always great! We love that they will make a meal more or less spicy for us.

Called in our order of spring rolls, sesame chicken, garlic chicken, and a pint of house lo mien (has chicken, shrimp, pork, etc). A very nice person answered the phone and took the order.nnOrder was ready to pick up in 15 minutes, ready to go at the front. The place is a kitchen, because they only do take out. Smells clean with a good Chinese takeout food smell. The staff was cheery, payed in cash don’t know if they take card. Food was only $27.nnThe spring rolls were cooked well but a little mushy inside but had good flavor.nnThe sesame chicken was very good. Chicken was lightly sauced and cooked where it was still juicy. A lot of takeout Chinese places over sauce and over cook the chicken in my opinion, Golden house did neither of these thankfully!nnThe lo mien had all the meat! It was a little bland. But the meat was cooked well. Especially the shrimp.nnThe chicken with garlic sauce was not that spicy but a good zip. Chicken again moist and well cooked.nnWe got both the chicken dishes as combinations, which comes with rice and an egg roll. The egg roll was a little over fried but still had good flavor and crispy. The rice was not oily and the veggies in it were not over steamed, which was really tasty.nnYes this is a American Chinese restaurant not authentic Chinese food. Others are mad about this, but that is what a Chinese takeout restaurant is supposed to be!!nnOverall we really liked the food and will most definitely order from here again. Especially because it is run by a family and I hope stays around a long time.

Locally convenient, 15 minute pickup service, multi menu choices for oriental dishes only. Pleasant staff, family run.
