Completely open to the public, Grace Farms is a non-profit center dedicated to initiatives concerning nature, the arts, community, justice and faith.nnThe main edifice here, called The River, is worth the visit alone: Completed in 2015, it was designed by the Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese architecture firm SANAA.nnRadiating a sense of peace, this long, sinuous structure is made from glass and concrete, with a Douglas fir canopy supported by steel pillars.nnThis houses a 700-seater amphitheater, a tea pavilion, a library, a commons space with an excellent organic cafe and a sunken court for performing arts and recreation.nnGrace Farms is in 77 acres of immaculate grounds, navigated by walking trails, around the site you can seek out contemporary art installations by the likes of Teresita Fernández, Olafur Eliasson and Thomas Demand.

View:nThe architecture of this place is absolutely mesmerizing. You can essentially take a picture anywhere along the river belt or the entire site for that matter and have amazing shots.nnThings to eat/do:nThere are 2 spots you can leverage while you are at this sanctuary: the bakery or the tea shop. The have one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. My girlfriend and I were basically fighting for the last bite. As for their tea selection, we decided to go with jasmine pearl tea from Fujian, China. Probably one of the best jasmine teas I've tried.nnParking:nLast but not least, there is a whole parking lot dedicated to this site and for people to just come and enjoy a nice hike or get some work done at their library.nnLast Remarks:nBest part is that all of this is free and it's a wonderful thing that Grace Farm does to empower the local community. I highly recommend taking a visit and supporting them and their many causes.

A really nice example of architecture that has a wow factor but still feels human. Love the wood, light, warmth that pervades this special space. And best of all: you can enter for free! The food offerings at the commons are also surprisingly reasonably priced. All in all, a public space that feels genuinely welcoming.

Volunteer staff are very nice. This place opened in 2015. Free to park, bring an ID like your driver's license. Nice place to walk around, the trail is short and mostly flat. The lunch options are minimal, you cannot bring your own food. Checkout their website for events, some are free, and you can reserve spaces.
