Our experience with Jack at Chestnut Electric was outstanding. He came to our home to install an EV charger and several electrical outlets, to relocate a thermostat, and to mount two large TVs. He was punctual and patient, working with our older home and going out of his way to teach us when we had questions. The end product looks excellent and extremely professional. We couldn't have asked for a more polished job, or a nicer person to do it.

This is the first time I had Chestnut Electric do work in my home. They installed a portable generator and I’m very pleased with their service. I had contacted them via the internet one evening and received a call back the following day. I spoke with the service manager who was helpful describing what the job would entail; he made an appointment for the work to be done the following week; and emailed me an estimate of cost. On the day of service, Alan arrived on time, greeted me with his mask and quickly got to work. He was knowledgeable, professional and discussed with me how he would complete the job. He made several suggestions to maximize my use of the generator, regarding its placement, essential items to power in the electrical panel, etc. Most helpful was that Alan took time to give me a tutorial when he was done with the generator installation of how to start the generator, activate the electrical panel and turn off the generator when power was restored. He also did a thorough job cleaning up. He was truly an impressive electrician. And because of Alan, I will definitely call Chestnut Electric again in the future for other electrical work. MM Wilton

Needing several repairs, I left a vm on a local company’s main number. No response. I called Chestnut Electric Corp. and booked an appointment for the following week. Scott fixed the microwave short, diagnosed the DR light grounding issue (metal jacket to a plastic switch box by a prior company), reconnected the lamp post, bypassed the motion sensor on a driveway security light and recommended where to put new cans for the hallway. Knowledgeable, efficient, professional and personable. No hesitation in referring this company.

Jim was at my residence all morning installing nest system and 3 different light fixtures. Everything works great. Very patient setting up nest system. He double checked all switches and assembled light fixtures with care. Very pleasant

I set up an appointment with Chestnut Electric for 8:00AM this past Friday. Jim, their technician arrived right on time. He completed all three of the jobs I had for him with quality and accuracy. Jim answered all my questions and repaired my motion detector on RAB. I am very satisfied with with work done by Jim. FIVE STARS.
