I wanted to buy a stop-smoking product that was on sale, buy one, get one 50% off. They only had one. I pointed out the sale and asked if they have another. The clerk checked and said they didn't have any more. I asked him to give me 25% off on the one, because that's how the math works out on the sale, and it's not my fault they don't have two. I'd buy two if they had them. He offered to sell me the item I wanted plus one other item I didn't want, so he could give me the sale price. Of course I don't want to buy an item I don't want! The manager was right next to him the whole time and was involved in the discussion. Although they were polite and apologetic, they were not empowered or not willing to do anything beyond sell me one item at full price. Maybe they aren't good at math. No thanks, I'll wait until CVS has a sale!

I had to wait 35 minutes to pick up a script that had been called in earlier in the day. This was my first experience at Walgreen's and unfortunately, I was underwhelmed!
