Me and my fiance enjoy going to Woodland Park. I've always enjoyed myself in the past when ever I've visited the park. Especially when ever I'm either watching or feeding the birds. How ever once in a while a person will encounter something like a White tailed dear. Which is always very cool to experience. But there's also the occasion when a person might come across either someone or something that might make you feel a little uneasy.

Awesome place for walks, feed the ducks and geese. Have a picnic. No longer allowed to feed the ducks. Most of them have been revoked that were tame. The wild ones have flown south for the winter.

Woodland Park is great, been going there since I was a child and called it the Ducky Park. Called that because of the huge amounts of ducks there. It has a great walking trail, nice garden areas, benches everywhere, gazebos to meet and eat a water park, and as mentioned ducks. Great place to take the family especially kids, there are also playgrounds so they wont get bored and if you bring bread its fun to feed the ducks. Its a great park so if your in Kalispell check it out.

This park is good and has potential! Parks and Recs and volunteers have been working on it for the last year. It is a great place for pictures with many water sources, bridge and many unique trees! New playgrounds, a skate park and a Pool! Not quite up to what is was when I was a kid but I have confidence that if the Parks & Rec keep doing what they are doing and the locals keep up on it, it will be a 5 star park in the next 2 years.
