For those who don't know Old Town Restaurant it is a great local place. Naturally you don't want to let everybody know about it but under these circumstances especially with the epidemic they could definitely use the business. You would hate to see a place that you always get great meals go out of business. Over the past 20 years we've eaten there at least 60 times!
If you like Greek style pizza they are good. We enjoyed a variety of pizzas from Olde Town. Delicious fresh toppings, the eggplant pizza had thin slices of batter dipped eggplant. My husband had bacon which was crispy pieces of good bacon, some places use precooked bacon, this place does not.
A little on the pricey side. They have an outdoor area. It was pretty noisy with truck deliveries. They have a nice menu and clean bathrooms. I had to wait to be seated a bit longer than I expected.
Great food and service. Very clean and covid compliant.
I've come here over the past few years. I've mainly done take-out and they are always so happy to take the order (even when I am walking in right before they close). I think I have done all of their subs. They are large portions (one is enough for two adults). They do a good ratio of meat or eggplant and a decent portion of sauce and cheese to prevent it from being dry but the bread is still crusty. As you can probably tell, this review is mainly for the subs take-out orders. It was a quick, delicious dinner on late nights at work or special date nights at the Trumbull concerts on the green during the spring/summer.
