The Smithy

The service at The Smithy is above and beyond (this goes for pre-pandemic and during the course of their quarantine-responses to safer service). My family and I have dined at the restaurant for over three decades. Their service and the wonderful people working there have always provided the most gracious, enjoyable experience. Even during quarantine I can say the same. If you have not had an opportunity to order take out from The Smithy during quarantine, and you are looking for a tasty delicious meal, then I suggest you do so! We were pleasantly surprised to open up the packages of food to see we were provided a container of cheese/crackers, rolls/butter, as well as salad and their amazing dressings! They really hit the nail on the head for providing/bringing the restaurant style & feel of The Smithy directly to your home and kitchen table. The taste and quality was just as good as eating it right in the restaurant - although we long for the days we can eat there worry-free again! For pick-up, they will bring it directly to car with no need to go inside and when we realized that a meal had been missing from our order we received a call from Ron straight away & had the pick-up/delivery of the item sorted-out in seconds. If I had known the take-out was so amazing we would have done this again and again by now! Will definitely continue to do so. Thank you, Smithy!!

Amazing service and meal

It was okay. Don't get me wrong the food was fine. But a piece of salmon with a cup of mass cooked rice was $30? Like the veggies was a salad bar which is also fine but with COVID you can't even do that they just bring you a pre-made salad. Definitely has a local vibe to it, not a place to take a first date or to stop if you're not from the area.

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Food was amazing, and the service professionals went above and beyond. The new owners have truly done an amazing job. 10/10 recommend!!

The best steakhouse within one-hundred miles. I always get a fillet Teriyaki and it's consistently perfect. Nice atmosphere and excellent wait staff plus the grill master does a fantastic job. Worth the drive, if you aren't close by.
