I started spinning a few years ago but was never really happy with the spin classes I was being offered at my regular gym. Joyride Darien came highly recommended by several friends, so I decided to give it a try. It was so easy to create an account online and I even received a complimentary class for my first visit! The spin studio was sparkling clean and the bikes are spaced out over 12 feet apart. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I have tried 3 different instructors and all of them are great! The classes are challenging but accessible to all levels. I left the classes feeling so good and extremely excited to take the next one. I am so happy to have found such a nice studio with such awesome people. Do yourself a favor and spin at Joyride Darien!
I love being part of the Joyride community. I started spinning in Jan. 2020 with my friend’s 16 year old daughter. My first class was really hard and I did not want to go back, but she invited me to another class and I could not say no to her. I then quickly fell in love with spinning and Joyride. Then COVID hit, but the Joy tent opened and I’ve been faithfully taking amazing classes there ever since. The instructors rock, it’s good for my physical and mental health. It’s a favorite activity that I do with my good friend. I love starting my day on a bike listening to great music, getting exercise and being with my friend. I have a Peloton too, but I’ll never give up live in- person classes with the awesome Joyride community.
My wife and I are avid spin folks. We moved to Darien recently and are so happy we discovered Joy Ride. They have done a great job in the Covid era setting up an outside venue. The classes and instructors are great. We are very happy with Joy Ride and encourage you to give it a try.
I recently decided to try Joy Ride after seeing an ad for the pop-up outdoor tent. Brilliant idea! So far, I've tried four instructors and have found all of them to be high energy, skilled and highly motivating. The classes are really fun and upbeat and provide a challenging workout. I just wish the bikes had computers connected to them for those of us who like to track our stats and progress over time.
So delighted to be able to get back to spin in an outdoor environment!! It’s a life saver and all the instructors are full on energy and make for fun rides!
