Wow. How did Rowayton survive without a clothing and shoe store all these years?! Chou Chou is the newest addition to our beloved seaside community and I’m not sure how we survived without this amazing little boutique before! It’s obvious that this is a store that truly cares about it’s customers. The owner Kathy is so kind and knowledgeable about the merchandise and has always helped me pick items that make me feel my best any time I come in town to shop. It’s impossible to leave the store without SOMETHING! Welcome to Rowayton Chou Chou... don’t ever leave!

I started shopping at Chou Chou years ago and candidly, felt that the clothes were not really my style. Amazingly though, I would buy a piece here and a piece there only to discover that months later, my Chou Chou pieces were my favorites. I practically live in my DL1961 jeans, my Cole Haan grand pros, my Kinross cashmere swacket (sweater jackets), my Bella Dahl button downs. Whether I wanted to or not, I became a Chou Chou girl. Kathy and her team are the best and go above and beyond - and they are a breath of fresh air when it seems everywhere I shop the salespeople couldn't care if I buy anything or not!

The shop is beautiful no doubt, but I guess the blonde woman working today didn't care for my looks, she was phony and dismissive. While there, another woman came in whom she immediately plied all of her attention, almost obsequious; the difference in behavior was night and day. I specifically did not buy the sunglasses I wanted, wallet, earrings, beach wine glasses and two French Curve linen tunics because of her specifically unfriendly nature.
