Re-Finery

I found a nice sweater in here today. I noticed the young lady behind the counter did not have on a mask. When I went up to pay for it I said, “Maybe you’ve just forgotten but do you have a mask to put on” She replied “No I don’t “. So I put the the sweater on the counter and said then I don’t want this. Sad situation.

I was downtown Kalispell, with me friends, for a birthday celebration. We were enjoying ourselves downtown and decided to look into the Refinery. Everything was way overpriced to begin with, you could basically buy a new version of whatever is in there for what they’re asking! But the worst part of our experience there was the way the counter girl treated us! We weren’t sure if we wanted to buy anything there, we were just looking to see, and we had no idea that it was going to be so expensive! We spent about ten minutes in the store looking around and when we saw the prices we decided that we would rather spend money on something else, we didn’t say anything rude or anything, it was just “Do you want to keep shopping or are you good?” “No, we can leave I’m done.”nThen as we walked out, the lady behind the counter started saying rude and snarky things to us like “oh, I see you not actually going to actually purchase anything, just messing around and wasting other people’s time.” We had not been rude and we certainly didn’t mean to offend. I felt like she was being almost mean and trying to make us feel bad. I’m sorry we cannot afford your fancy second hand clothes but some of us just don’t have the money! Plus, that is her JOB to sit at the counter! She is getting paid to do that and she shouldn’t be rude when people don’t buy things! We weren’t TRYING to “waste time” (I don’t think that this was the owner).nI would definitely not recommend shopping at the Refinery unless you have a lot of money, or else you may not be treated well....

Excellent customer service. Found some great items. The cat (big fur ball) provided second opinion on outfits purchased. Worth the visit.
