Lovely place to hike in the heart of the woods of Wooster mountain and Hemlock Hills. The pond is quite large and the scenery about both sides is gorgeous almost all year round. The trail around the pond is too hard or hilly to hike so it, but is still about around a full hour or so from the parking spot so it is good for quick day hikes. The trail also leads more into Hemlock Hills so further in allowing you to do more hiking.

If you like wildlife, go here! Nice pond with a beautiful view when you get to the pond. Tough walk to get to the pond especially after it rains as the trail gets very muddy but manageable with planning ahead.

Lovely spot to hike and bring the pup unleashed. For the best hike you should go all the way around the pond. You can see wildlife such as herons, hawks, ducks, beavers and sometimes golden eagles. Beautiful spot in all seasons and the trails are well marked.
