Amazing set of trails. You can turn this into a 40 hike or easily 5 hours depending on the size of your loop. In some instances it can be a little hard to see the markings - which was great for me and my kids cause it was like an adventure into the unknown. Before heading, I recommend you download the AllTrails app as it gives you a better idea of where to start and which fork to take.
The largest contiguous undeveloped open space tract in Connecticut. Great mountain bike trails, many possible hiking loops, can easily get 700 or more feet of vertical in a couple hours hike. See ROSA.org for a trail map. Nice view from Pine Mountain, several impressive gorges and ridges. Many connected trails are occasionally confusing. Inconsistent trail markers.

A beautiful park with so much to see! The terrain varies from wide trails with gentle slopes to steep and rocky trails. Plenty of streams and waterfalls to be seen along your hike. Lots of wildlife. If you're in the area, be sure to check this place out.
It is a beautiful location for a hike or a trail run. Peaceful and relaxing.
