I found this state park while out there visiting family and decided to take a hike on a whim. Found it using the Alltrails app. Was easy enough to find. Ended up jogging about five miles around and about the place just exploring. Found some old stone walls and foundations from a time and place forgotten long ago.
I met Sasquatch here. We had a nice talk. Then he ate my dog. I ran away to write this review. Nice place to go, but watch out for Sasquatch, especially if you bring your dog.
I have not explored the entire site but this is a great spot for a short break from todays rigors. The location pictured is a 15-20 minute walk (round trip) if you move with purpose, 25-30 if your more laid back. I believe the grounds are split between NY and CT.
Nice quiet place to take a walk. Bring your bug spray. Also might bring by mountain bike next time i saw people biking and they said it was a good place to go
Good intermediate mountain biking. Pretty hilly so it's not for people who are out of shape.
