Hearthstone Castle

In the midst of demolition but the place is rad. Get there before it is demolished. It is vandalized but I actually love it regardless. Trails and picnic areas :) have fun, God bless.

Had a great picnic lunch w good friend. Plenty of clean tables, well kept lawns and gardens and great views. A true Danbury gem.

Awesome ud83dudc4d short hike but super cool to see up close and personal. According to Wikipedia it was built to be some guys honeymoon cabin with his wife...bet there's a great story there. Safe to walk around and nearby, no easy way to get inside without some broken flooring or boarding up ud83cudfdaufe0f

After doing the Ives trail for hours, seeing this castle was the highlight of the day. There are fences surrounding the building and I'm guessing it will get restored.

This place is quiet and cool. You have to find the best capture of your shots and it's extremely challenging on a photographer like me.
