Hi, I lived abroad for a few years for work, and for most of the time my US tax preparation was covered by my employer however the final year I lived abroad I was left to get my own provider. This was coincident with my relocation back to the US so I was incredibly relieved when a colleague enthusiastically recommend reaching out to Kristin for help. I was unsure of whether my tax situation would be straightforward and for Kristin, it was no problem whatsoever (huge relief!!). As soon as I provided her my documents she worked efficiently and was very communicative in outreach when she needed additional information and as well keeping me up to date on her progress. Her style and professionalism is very comforting. Going forward, I will keep using her services - I am grateful for her efforts to talk about options and strategies to ensure optimal financial and tax planning based off my overall financial profile. She has changed my attitude and approach to taxes (less anxiety) and I look forward to working with her again!

Kristin has been preparing our tax returns and giving us general financial advice for five years. I can't think of a way she could be more knowledgeable and responsive. For example she noticed that we had failed to take a deduction to which we were entitled for the past three years and filed amended state and federal returns at no cost to us. She gets an A+ in my book.

My close friend recommended Kristin to me when we were discussing getting life insurance after our children were born. We were very impressed with Kristin's knowledge; she explained our options very patiently and worked us through which plans would work for us. She always follows up with a detailed report and an email highlighting options. Our process also became a bit drawn out, and she worked with us, keeping us in the look the whole way. I would highly recommend her for any needs/help on securing life insurance.

I found Kristin to be knowledgeable, professional, and very easy to work with (even remotely). I had used online tax preparation software for several years, and decided it was time to go with a proper tax service. After finding Delfau online and reading the reviews, I found my experience with Kristin over the last two years to be above and beyond my expectations and in-line with the stellar reviews. Not only am I saving time, but in my case I have also saved additional money with increased tax returns versus when I did them myself. I would certainly recommend Delfau Tax Services and plan on using her again this year.

I highly recommend Delfau Tax & Financial. Ms. Delfau is extremely timely, responsive, and well organized. She was able to help me through a very difficult process during a very difficult time. I do not feel that without having been referred to her and without her strong and steady perseverance I would not have been able to reach my goals.nnAs professional as Ms. Delfau is she is also very kind in nature. She strives to educate her clients keeping them well informed of all of their financial options as well as all of the pitfalls to be wary of.
