Internal Revenue Service (IRS)

I have made several appointments. Every time I go to IRS Danbury, office is close, eve with an appointment or the lady is sick. I have never seen such a bad service The lady does not honor the appointments. I lost 4 days at work trying to solve my tax needs.

Different of what people have said in the reviews, I personally had a good experience at IRS Danbury. The lady from booth one was very kind, helpful and friendly. Now, what are those plants by her desk!? They are so beautiful!!!!

The people working here need to be retrained on customer service or hire new blood. This is a position to deal with the public, if you don't like the public, please move on and let someone else do the job correctly.

There is a woman there that is so incredibly rude to me every time I go there. She always sits on the left cubicle when you come in. She treats me like I can't speak English and like I'm incredibly stupid. At one point I even called her out on her behavior and she continued with her absurdly demeaning tone. I left there at the brink of tears, because never have I been so disrespected. All it took was for her to look at my name and to realize that I can't possibly be American with such an incredibly long name, and it was all downhill from there. People who work at the IRS should have atleast some respect for those who aren't of an American family, because immigrants get absolutely no benefits from paying taxes. Not that I'm an illegal immigrant, but I guess a Brazilian name is close enough for her.
