Gifford Pinchot State Park - Camp Area

We camp here a few times a year usually and its always a great experience. Over 300 sites to choose from. Beach access from the campground. Bathrooms are clean and firewood is available at the host sites. Cell service is also good so it's a nice spot for beginner campers easing into sleeping in the outdoors.. Highly recommend!

Great experience! We didn’t book in advance but just showed up and they have a great process in place for ppl like us. Nice bathrooms! Nice swimming hole! Nice spacious camp sites on the water! We liked it a lot!

Like going to this place. Nice to kayak and ride bike and hike. Really enjoy our times there and decent prices. Only down side is that hard to get sites that are more level. Unfortunately our rv doesn't have leveling Jack's and then you have to try getting up on board to try to level. Big pain.

We spent a beautiful weekend camping here this fall. We were close to the beach which was clean and a nice place for the kids to play. The reason for 4 stars was the bathrooms- they were centrally located but were a bit dirty and not pleasant at all.

Most of the campsites are too close together and lack privacy. There also a bit of a trashy trailer park vibe going on. It's a shame cause the area is pretty.nnThis was labor day weekend though so maybe other times are better.
