Susquehanna Shores Campground

Cleanest and most beautiful campground I have been too. Owners were super nice and helpful. We would definitely visit again to kayak the river!

A very nice, small campground. Well maintained and clean. Thoroughly enjoyed the owner.nnThe upper level seem to be more of the semi-permanent campers. The lower, river level, more like us. Short timers.nnNearby is a laundry and down the street a nice, fun little bar with some pretty good food.nnThe only concern I might suggest is that if you have a long travel trailer, there might be some issue trying to pull your rig off the lower level without dragging bottom. 5th wheels, not a problem. RV’s, it would depend upon your wheelbase and how it compares to the length of the body.nnLarge, grassy parking areas. Yes, you can have your traditional bugs, but hey, you’re on the river. That’s part of the experience.

We stayed there at the end of a chilly April - Bob and Sue were WONDERFUL! Extremely accommodating and helpful. The campground is well kept and the bath house is very nice. I highly recommend this campground. Others there opening their campers for the season were also very friendly. Thank you Bob and Sue!
