Cedar Creek Trekker Campground

Absolutely love this spot. Free camping, all you need to do is fill out the form at the information posts and slip it in the drop box. 100% free! Local police patrol the area day and night for your safety. Very friendly officers. If your into swimming, trails & the good outdoors this is the place for you.

Great FREE place to stop on the GAP. The place was empty while I was here. There were plenty of grassy spots to set up my tent after biking from Cumberland. I checked out the Adirondack shelters but it looked like someone was potentially occupying one of them. Everything a bike tourist needs: bathroom, water spigot, grassy campsites, and covered picnic benches for cooking. Very well maintained.

Awesome no bothers. Clean and peaceful

I am biking the GAP (July 2019) and was planning on spending the night here. The campground was dirty, but I can live with that. One Adirondack shelter was occupied by homeless people who had their stuff everywhere. I can live with that. The other Adirondack shelter was filthy. Two campsites were taken up and did not look like hiker-biker campers. I can live with that. What broke me was the filthy and disgusting bathroom. Made me gag. I left.
