Great for the family. Dog friendly (just please pick up after) and plenty of places for the kiddos to play and run around. And for the Pokemon Go players there are 2 Gyms and about 8 pokestops.
This is a diamond in the rough. It's very well maintained, there aren't a ton of people, and my nephews love the playground. Definitely worth checking out.
We stopped here on a long road trip. Great little park for a picnic lunch with 3 covered picnic tables and also nice shaded grass areas to lay out a blanket) and was pleasantly surprised at the bathroom conditions (1 person at a time notice on the door, open door for better ventilation and the toilet bowl still had some blue cleaning agent in it). There's also a little walkway near the right outfield fence of the baseball field that goes down to a lovely babbling brook/creek.
Nice area. Lots of playing options for kids as well as pokemon gyms and pokestops for pokemon go players
