The dog park exists, but not very well. It’s nice that they put in the dog area, but there a few shortcomings. The surface is terrible, it isn’t grass or fake turf, it’s all rocks. Rocks aren’t good for dogs to play on. The fence is too short, any decent jumper could clear it. Lastly, the park is just too small.
It's a lovely addition to the busiest part of town. There is the Blue Star memorial garden, a fenced in area for dogs, and a lot of green space.
This isn't a dog park. My yard is bigger than this disgrace. Maybe if you could legally play with your dog in the normal park area it would be worth it.
It's a nice park, but it also has a pokestop and a gym for pokemon go.
