Travelers' Oasis Truck Plaza

Travelers' Oasis Truck Plaza is easy to access with plenty of rig parking. The store has everything for us roadsters from drinks, snacks, fast food and shopping accessories. The restrooms are clean and quite large so you won't feel crowded. This is not new and modern, but kept clean with lots of amenities.

Had a negative experience at the restaurant. I tried calling ahead of time a few times only to be told the connection isn't working when transferring. I go there to find out it's working fine. Scott, who clearly knows I'd like to order at this point, picks up the phone and proceeds to take the callers order. I'm just standing waiting for him to acknowledge me at this point to no avail. I'm thinking locals might have the direct line to this place since when I asked for their direct # I was told by a Plaza attendee that they couldn't do that. These mom n pop places consistently disappoint making it easy for big name truck stops to dominate in the business. I'm getting more and more discouraged to try and support smaller businesses like this. Bummer.

I was there several times in 2000 and 2001 when I drove for C.R. England. The biggest and best chicken fried steak I ever had was at the Garden of Eden restaurant. The staff were also very friendly.

My favorite part about road trips are the truck stops. We stopped at this one twice, to and from Utah. They have a nice little food court (didn't eat at the restaurant) and clean bathrooms, could have a better selection of cold coffee beverages, but overall great experience.

This has always been one of my favorite stops. One stop shop has everything you need. I will say the restrooms need some serious cleaning. Floors, toilets and mirrors are filthy. ud83dude2c
