A friend plus my wife and I trailered three horses to Two Mile Run County Park from Chardon/Middlefield, Ohio. It was an easy two hour drive and we were rewarded with the best ride of the 2020 season. Easy parking and we happened to meet Bill Cop (s.p.) a local trail volunteer. VERY well marked trails and the excellent map from the website made a great ride. Beautiful vistas from both ends of the lake looked almost like a mountain lake in Montana. We rode about ten miles of the trails in three hours fifteen minutes never in doubt about where we were. Thank you Verango County PA for a beautiful park, we will see you again!!!
As a young teenager, having just moved to the US from Japan back in the mid 80s, I would often spend the summers at Two Mile Run with my family and friends. So many good memories having grown up in this part of the country. Peace from New York City!
Nice place to walk in the woods on the hiking trails. Dog friendly
Pioneer Flats is a Nice Place for Reunions, Get Togethers and other stuff
Best full hookup camping around. Just love the place.
