Normalcy is hard to come by during our current times but it will do your body and mind extremely good to do the Turkey Path. Precautions are well posted and trail is well maintained. I will tell you I am not in shape carrying extra weight and over 60 yo. I found the trail a challenge but fun and refreshing. Others were mindful of social distancing. It was a great day for my wife and I. Recommend to anyone, just know you limitations and it will be fun.
PA must do! Camped at the adjoining campground. Steep but extremely well marked and reasonably wide. It’s also round trip only about 3 miles even if you explore the gorge a bit. Wear proper footwear, take it slow and you’ll be fine. It’s rated difficult however I found this to be more moderate.
Other notes about difficulty are optimistic. While the views May be spectacular the rescue and ride in an ambulance is not. Please consider weather, footwear, and your own fitness prior to embarking on this “trail.” Be safe.
