A beautiful park along the west rim of the PA Grand Canyon. There are many old build pavilions with fire places, tons of room ample parking. Several vistas into the canyon. A handful of trails dot the park. Grab a map available at the East Rim visitors center. There is no camping at the West Rim.

Well signed trails.

Had a wonderful moderate hike down (and back up) the Turkey Trail! Blue Trail markers are faded in most places so it's important to pay attention, also it's very narrow with a steep drop off in some places so not a trail for young kids, or most dogs. Bring some trekking poles or even a pair of old ski poles for added balance...you'll want it!

The not so touristy side of the PA Grand Canyon. Nice series of scenic overlooks and trails. Turkey Trail looks like it actually connects the two sides. Might have to check it out sometime. Love the scenery and the trails. Turkey trail os mot for the faint of heart. Easy going down but the trip back up can be difficult.

This state park is very rustic and remote. If you like quiet and don't mind a lack of facilities it's easy to find a nice campsite. Great hikes and plenty of room. A real back to nature experience.
