The hospitality was great from the moment we arrived at the campgrounds. The owners did an outstanding job maintaining the grounds. The are activities for all ages at the campground and within the local area. We camped two nights and stayed at a cabin two nights. We enjoyed the best of both worlds in one long weekend. The fireworks display was outstanding! There is so much to do, yet, it is a very relaxing scenery surrounded by huge green mountains.

We had the best time! It’s a very safe, quiet camp ground where kids can truly be kids. We stayed in a cabin that had ac and a shower, everyone is friendly and the stars at night are gorgeous! Far enough away from the major tourist spots but close enough to get to Wellsboro within 10-12min. We can’t wait to go back!

Great place to go camping, the pool is very well kept and clean. The arcade is full of fun games and all of the games work. The. Sites in the camp ground are very large and even have grass. The only negatives I have are that the men's shower s have mold on the curtains and they do not have a place to set you clothes down like a bench or a shelf so that your clean clothes stay dry.

Nice little campground. Can't beat the price. Bathrooms were nice and clean. The roads are a little sketchy. Scope you site out before you park. All in all I would go back.

This place was great!nnWe planned a November camping trip but all campsites were closed for the season, except for Stony Fork Creek Campsite. This place turned out to be better than we expected. The man at the desk was friendly and helpful; giving us suggestions for things to do and see while in town. We stayed two nights; the first night we were in the primitive tent section. After a night in freezing temperatures, we decided to upgrade to a site with electrical setup for our tent heater. When we asked the man at the desk to upgrade to the electrical site, he upgraded us free of charge!nnThe campsite is beautiful. It’s nestled between two mountains and away from major roads. Cell service is nonexistent in the area, just as I had wanted (the campsite offered free wifi). The area was quiet and peaceful. The campgrounds were well kept, fire rings clean, and grass maintained. The bathroom was spotless, heated, and bug free! I loved that the tent section was on its own little ‘island’ away from everyone else. In order to access the tent section, we had to drive through a small creek which was pretty cool.nnThe only bummer was the bathroom located in the tent area was closed, I’m guessing because they were in the process of closing for the season (which is understandable). In order to use the restroom, we had to walk a distance to the main bathroom, which really wasn’t a big deal.nnIn passing, I saw they have a game room and playground area for the children. They also have cute little cabins for rent. The campsite is located within a short drive of Leonard Harrison and Colton State parks and downtown Wellsboro.nnThis place is dog friendly so I was able to share the experience with my four legged friend!nnWe had such a enjoyable experience here that we’re already planning our next camping trip back to Stony Fork Creek campsite!
