The Camp at East Lake

This place is so low key, so it was perfect for our group. Cabins are rustic, and tagged up from years of enjoyment. We were invited to an informal bbq by the folks that managed the place, so that was sweet. If you hike down the long trail, and you can also get a 4wd down it, you will find an incredibly beautiful lake, with it's own dock. Can't wait to return this summer!!

The people that live there are nice but the place is a dump. Everything is rotting and dangerous for children to play on. It needs to find a new owner that cares about it.

Managment mowing for 6 hours around my campsite all while staring at me. Many useless amenities. Looks like has been closed for 30+ years.

The Camp At East lake is a great place to go. The camp manager is very nice and the camp Director is a very outgoing gentleman and is doing an excellent job. I can see this camp being and amazing camp once Director Rob is able to do what his vision to help better the campping is really all about. I have very much Respect for the director of the camp and believe that with his visions this camp will be a great place to enjoy the outdoors at it's best.
