Shady Rest Campground

Very nice experience from easy phone reservation to a nice peaceful night of sleep and full hookups! Easy in and out, very friendly service and a beautiful tree lined camping area. Nice balance of trees but not in the way when maneuvering a large rig. Gravel lined fairly level spots. We arrived late afternoon and only stayed one night, but will definitely stay again when in the area.

We loved this little campground. Stayed in December 2020 for business. Very quiet and peaceful place. Would stay again! Full hook up heated water for winter and they provide a cable tv box!

Sandy and her husband are wonderful people! It’s a nice campground with everything you need. Lots of trees, easy to get level and easy for us to get in and out. We’re in a 25’ Class C

This campground is wonderful! The owners are great, and their property has a lot of beautiful sites to choose from. We stopped for a night while passing through town, but we will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future!

Nice stopping point. Close to Rt. 81. Lots of trees provide a great view out your windows.
