Check out Wolf Rocks and other trails in the area. Trails along laurel summit road are generally flat and easy to navigate. There are trails in Forbes State Forest and Linn Run that are more challenging and very scenic.
I didn't give the park 5 stars because I felt the road into the park didn't have adequate signage getting there. We also weren't able to get into our motorized site because we lacked some important information about how to unlock the gate.nIt seems to be full of cross-country trails, so I am sure it's a popular spot.
Unique place. A bog at the top of a ridge. Nice rest rooms.
My favorite spot on the mountain! Easy access to the Spruce Flats Bog and quite a few trails to choose from!
A great place to explore and to picnic not as crowded as the lower picnic areas. A lot of trail to start exploring. It is also the trail head to one of the best hikes the Wolfe Rocks overlook.
