i have grown up going to this park my entire life. i love to kayak and bike around it. there is also hiking trails and fishing holes. it has a beach and volleyball courts. there are swingsets and for those who like to enjoy the water, you can rent canoes and kayaks in the summer here. beautiful place nestled into the mountains.
Beautiful park with amazing hiking trails. Nice creek next to the trail making for some beautiful photos. In the summer there is a beach front for kids to play in the lake. There is also a seasonal canoe and kayak rental.
Great park for a variety of outdoor activities year round. We love the beach and the lake in warmer weather. And the concession stand food is actually really good!
Very pretty scenery. Decent trails. Not too crowded. Road signs could be better. You should pull up a park map and get familiar before going or to follow when you arrive.
The Virgin Hemlock forest is my favorite, but there's other trails and a lake as well. Still need to explore more of it...
