Pioneer Park Campground

We had a wonderful time. Spent five nights with my family over a long weekend in mid-September. We rented the cabin and trailer sure right across from the dog park. Our the pups really enjoyed being able to run around inside the dog park. The playground is still not open, but we enjoyed walking on the trails, and around the lakes.

Only place we go. Nice and quiet no golf carts.

My husband and his family have been going here since he was a little boy. Then we we had children we tented here and always had the best time. Now we have a permanent site and we love it here!! It is a great family campground. They have swimming mini golf activities for kids just good old fashion fun. Very family friendly.

Do to covid-19 the playgrounds was closed. I didn't understand that because the pool was open so why not the playgrounds. The sites need a lot of work. I was on the hill to the left past the entrance. The sites are no where near level. I had to use the jack from my truck to jack my camper up almost 10 inches on the one side to even get close to level and I was still an inch or two out. My camper was so high I had to use blocks under the wheels and to get to the steps. They need to fix that. Camper sites need to be at least close to level. None of the paddle boats worked. My kids had nothing to do but play miniatures golf and the cost more than it should. I'm not sure if I'm going back to this camp ground.

Nice campground. Full hookups site was gravel but level. Nice pool. Friendly staff. Only complaint is $11 per person per day to fish.
