Hickory Hollow Campground

Love Hickory Hollow! Discovered it last summer and spent our camping weekends there this summer. What a treasure! The campground is very relaxed, clean and well-maintained, beautiful. It is extremely quaint and everyone is friendly with a greeting and a wave always. The owners are wonderful and very attentive to their campers. Camping season went by way too fast!!! I’ll keep at my yoga, Tika!

I recently camped here with a small group of family and friends. We had a wonderful time. The campground was clean and the staff was very friendly. My dog loved the fenced dog area and large grassy areas. The lake was nice for fishing too. A very enjoyable camping trip. We will be returning next spring!

We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) with 2 dogs and we are avid rustic tent campers. It is extremely hard to find a rustic site where it’s level, spacious and quiet. This campground has all 3 of those plus so much more. The sites are huge and away from the hussle and bussle of the other campsites. They were level and shaded and quiet. The bathhouse was close and kept very clean. The pool and pond are excellent touches to make the stay more enjoyable. There is also a small store that carries little souvenirs and some camping necessities. There’s a family dollar store 5 minutes down the road for little things you may have forgotten (like us, towels!) Our kids enjoyed playing basketball and volleyball and also enjoyed the little activities they had throughout the weekend that we stayed. This will be our official stop to go camping! Highly recommend this campground!

This is our first year as a seasonal campsite. Previous year as occasional week or long weekend getaways. Owners are fantastic, very clean areas and pool, the views of the mountains melt the stresses away. Weekend activities are fun and everyone you meet has a smile and a wave! Very glad we're here.

We really loved this campground. Nice, large pull thru site with full hookups. Cable TV stations aren't extensive but it was fine. Location was close to Fallingwater and Ohiopyle State Park. Campground feels very remote but it's only 8 miles from Somerset exit of the PA turnpike. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only suggestion I have would be making takeaway directions to local points of interest. Give this campground a try if you are interested in a relaxing experience.
