Paddler's Lane Retreat

We have a very large family so we rented both the house and the chalet. Both were beautiful. Everyone had a great week. Lots of outdoor activities, relaxing and just hanging out. Loved being next to the river and the all the beautiful flowers gardens. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome.

Great place to stay, owned by great friendly people! Perfect place to camp right along the river.

Beautiful, secluded spot beside the river. Rooms were pretty small, but clean and comfortable. Hosts are friendly and likable. The train was very loud with the windows open, although the house seemed well insulated from the sound with the windows closed. The plates and mugs are pottery made by the hostess, very beautiful. Children welcome!

I was here for a wedding. It's a nice spot. A little out there but not impossible to find. Very quiet and scenic. The wedding wasn't huge, probably around 100 people and I'd say that's about the limit with parking. Plenty of space for the ceremony and a tent for the reception. You can get down to the river as well and I would definitely recommend taking a peek.
