The campground is nice and is super well maintained. Each site has a large space with its own picnic table, trash can, fire ring, and wood is provided. There’s also a clean port-a-potty. Potable water is only available across the river at the main building/bathhouse so make sure to fill bottles while there. The Campground is directly across the river from two sets of railroad tracks. The trains run all night and are required to blast their horns as they cross the crossing in town. You’ll need earplugs but you’ll still hear them so be warned, that said it didn’t bother me at all.nnThe bathhouse is nice. There are four stalls each with electrical outlets. There is a warming lamp that can be set on a timer so the concrete isn’t cold when you get out of the shower and the water was plenty hot. There’s no soap or towels provided so be sure to bring your own.nnI was counting on being able to do laundry as the website says laundry facilities are available. I was told that they “no longer provide that for guests” when I arrived which was unfortunate. I don’t know if it’s a Covid precaution or not because I was offered no explanation but it really should be removed from the website, trail users rely on those descriptions to make decisions and plans.

Bicycled the GAP 2 yrs ago and stayed at Husky Haven and its one of the best campgrounds period. They have stacked firewood wood, the sites are clean, the showerhouse is spacious and awesome, theres a room like a den to relax and unwind, and the owners are very friendly. Everytime i stay at a horrible koa that is always too close to a highway and overpopulated i always think of how much better Husky Haven is

I almost don't want to tell you about this because it is so great and I want to be able to book again! So well taken care of, very clean, and so reasonably priced. Will definitely stay again!

Great place to stay, beautiful piece of land next to the Casselman River. People there were very nice and accommodating.
