Crooked Creek Campground

Very nice and open area. We arrived today on a Thursday, late October, very peaceful and quiet. We have a spot right next to the creek. Making reservations was very easy as I did it online. Called later then to extend my trip by one day and they were very accommodating. Sites are a decent size and mostly level. Very happy to be back in the mountains, drove 4 hours north to be here in the fall.

We had a wonderful stay on July 20 and 21. This was our very first RV camping experience in our new truck camper. We found the camp beautiful, the owners and their children delightful. After we hooked up, the camper electrical system was making some normal but unfamiliar noises to us, being newbies. We called the office and the owner came down quickly and checked everything out for us. We had a beautiful spot along the creek which was very relaxing. Had a spectacular view of the stars from the camp meadow. Thank you for making our first time a great time.

Beautiful campground with very nice owners. When we arrived there were several open sites, so the owners invited us to look around and choose any of the available sites instead of just sending us to the site we had reserved. We are so grateful they did, because we ended up on a creek side site that was absolutely beautiful! It was very shaded and had direct access to the creek. Chad, the owner, even shuttled us up the creek a little ways so we could tube down to the campsite! What an awesome thing to do that he was under absolutely no obligation to do! The bathhouse is brand new and very well kept. WiFi service was great! We booked a return trip in a month and will definitely keep coming back.

It was beautiful here. The office said it was open but was actually locked. Great fishing spots just walk the stream. Also may be great for swimming.

Took a 4 1/2 hour trip just to stay here. Amazing place overall and very clean! Owners were great and made you feel at home. Great hikes and sites close by. We will be back again. Highly recommend.
