A great place to camp. Nancy and Brad, the owners, are realy nice, helpful people. It is a small campground with a lot of seasonals who all seemed really nice. They had a cute ride for the children that Brad pulled with his tractor. Also, fireworks over the pond, which were beautiful! I have never seen bathrooms as clean as they were kept at this campground. We had a nice, fairly quiet, time.

Sites are on top of each other, Nancy is NOT a people person at all, she’s extremely rude if she doesn’t like you. Overpriced for what there is to offer. We were charged $450 monthly because we were there for the season rather than being charged a seasonal rate plus electric monthly and clean out charges. The owners are money hungry and they can’t even update the gross bathrooms! We were also unfairly charged for storage due to the national pandemic during the quarantine mandates. They want you to clean up your sites but won’t allow you to use their dumpster to discard anything. Too many more bad issues to even list.

My husband and I stopped by looking for a campsite on our travels through Route 6 and the owners were very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful night stay and would love to stop by again on another trip. Thank you for the perfect quiet spot you gave usud83dudc9c

Snyder's was our last stop on a 7 day trip around New England in a 33 foot RV. We visited Watkins Glen NY, Plymouth MA, Beavertail State Park in RI, and we spent two nights in Wolf's Den Campground in CT (also a nice camp) and traveled around that area a bit. Gillette State park is stunning. This trip was amazing and beautiful with many memories and a lot of fun. But it was far too fast paced. But we were crunched for time and we knew it would be awhile until we get back and we wanted to see as much as we could. So what does this have to do with Snyder's? Snyder's ended up being out favorite campsite of the whole trip! Snyder's is an old camp. It definitely needs some TLC! But the new owners are obviously taking that task to heart! They were friendly, helpful, and very open about the fact they know it's old and needs some work! But that's not the best part. We woke up in the morning to prepare for the drive on our last leg home and we just didn't want to leave. There is a peace and tranquility about that camp that just can't be found very often. It was hard to leave, and if we get back up that way, we'll be back!
