Allegheny River Campground

Great campground. Host was very friendly and helpful. Many large and grassy sites-many along the river. Kid friendly. Mimi-golf, frisbee golf, pool, splash pool, mallet pool, volleyball and more. Definitely a good stop.

Beautifully maintained grounds with plenty to do to keep the kids entertained. The addition of the splash pad will make it even better. Unfortunately, when we were preparing to leave, we had a major problem with our camper's electric jack's. The owners immediately came to our rescue to get us hooked up and on our way. Couldn't have asked for more thoughtful and friendly service!

Had a campsite right by the river. A very pretty area, and the campsite is nice with fairly clean restrooms. Make sure you bring cash though if you think you will need to get anything from the office, because there are extra charges if you have to use a card to pay for anything.

I am surprised that this place is getting good facebook and or Google reviews! We were just there over the weekend and the owners are are NOT nice people... In fact they are very rude!!!! There is only real bathroom with 2 stalls for men and 2 stalls for the women. The showers are the same. 2 and 2 for an entire campground full of people. If only I could upload a photo to show how clean it really wasn't. It is also one of the most expensive camp grounds that I have ever camped in including having camped in Virginia Beach! Putting that into perspective we will NOT be returning! Save your money and camp elsewhere! They area and location is very beautiful. However the owners are horrible! I am more than shocked that they're getting good reviews because that was not our experience with them at all...

It was my second time there, Beautiful and well kept campground, the cabin was very clean and comfortable, peaceful surroundings, friendly staff/management, truly a great experience. I plan to make it a yearly getaway. Very much worth the 5 1/2 hr drive from NJ. ud83dude0a
