It's nice that it's convenient. The trail is fairly mild but there are many points where the trail is washed out, or easy to lose. Also the trail is Ricky throughout so you'll likely spend more time looking down at your feet than around at the scenery. There are a couple of elevation changes, but in the summer there are sadly no high up views over the water. You can certainly see the water through the trees but that seems like a missed feature. In the winter when the leaves have dropped, I'm sure that the views are lovely and worth a sit.
Wonderful trail on the Apalachian with a well maintained area for a short rest ! It us inviting you to persue on yhe trail for many more days
Beautiful! Trail surface very rocky. Could be difficult for someone with unsteady feet. Wear high tops to keep from twisting your ankles.
This trail was breathtaking and very easy to walk. Wanted to see 10 bears ud83dudc3b was disappointed when I only saw none + 0.
Amazing hiking trail with fantastic views of Lake Wallenpaupack.
