Good fishing after the 2.5 mile walk
Hi. The hiking trail is nice, but wanted to post an update. As of June 8, 2019, my family and I did a hike there, and we have never seen anything even close to it in terms of ticks. Probably took close to 30 off of the four of us over the course of a 2.5 hour hike, and in the hours following it. So be careful!
Great lake to put a dinghy on and fish. Great place to get a good sweat in. Trail system is nice! Recommended for a day trip.
An easy 2+ mile walk takes you to Bruce Lake after passing an equally pretty Egypt Meadow Lake. The trail is wide, relatively smooth, and has only a mild grade. The shore has large flat rocks to sit or stand on and get great views of the lake.
