This campground is great. However, lock all of your food and trash inside of your vehicle at night. Bears will come to raid your coolers and they are not afraid of you, no matter how much noise you make. Also, do not go to the beach at night due to bears that raid the dumpsters there (especially after the weekend when trash is left outside of a full dumpster). We had a great experience at this campground, but stargazing at the beach was a terrifying nightmare.
Nice and a quite place, there is a boat rental, it has a little child park, picnic tables ,bathrooms and the lake and area are clean, Very nice family place.
Beautiful. Best time of year to go with all the amazing fall colors.
My most wonderful memories of my 1st husband & our kids camping here back in the 80s/90s.nWe have some great times.nThis place is beautiful & REAL rustic camping.nLoved every second (except the ice cold showers) ud83eudd76
