This is an nice little campground. There is only about 40 sites that vary widely in shape and size. The PA reservation system is pretty good at sizing your site to your rig. The camp host is super nice and came down to help me back into my site. For a state park the sites are really close together and the sites situated on the hill have very little room on either side. Bathrooms and showers are very clean and well kept. Our site was very level left to right. AT&T varies between 1 & 2 bars and was passable. We had full bars at the lake down the road. Make sure to visit the fully operational mill and a nice lake. There is a small town 5 minutes from campground with a Giant super market and track supply. There is a hardware store called Hellers across from tractor supply that at RV parts (needed to replace my regulator). Great weekend campground or for a short stay to resupply in town. We camped in site 32 with a 29’ travel trailer. Water and electric to 50 amp.

i came here like three years ago, and i have to say my experience was great. in seventh grade, i was a member of a summer program where we went to a new camp or park every day on a field trip, and many of the places weren’t anything to speak of. however, we actually came here twice because it was so popular with the students. the pool was great and very clean, and the lifeguards were very nice and attentive. the slides were really fun and the children’s pool was fun too. the changing rooms were fairly clean. there were picnic areas where we could sit and eat our lunch, so that was nice. all around great experience, 9/10 would recommend.

This will be our third time at Little Buffalo and we have had a great time every time. The first two visits we had cabins which were terrific. This year we brought our tent and reserved a site on the walk in loop. There are only three sites on the loop and are a good distance from each other. All are flat and nestled in the trees. We booked the site mainly because it was dog friendly but would get one of these again. It is about .25 of a mile to the parking lot and facilities so you feel secluded without actually being too far away. There are some good hiking trails, a lake for boating and fishing, a nineteenth-century mill and covered bridge, and a large pool that is discounted for campers. On our last visit we hiked all the trails for a total of about 10 miles. This year we brought our kayaks and explored the lake, which is small butt calm and had lots of area to put in and have lunch. There is an especially nice cove near the western boat launch that has lots of turtles, water birds, and dragonflies. This season covid closed the boat rental and water slides at the pool but everything else sensed to be running normally. My family and I really enjoy Little Buffalo and will definitely come back.
