It's a beautiful day to walk around with muy wife. Kids playing soccer and family and friends watching. Grand parents playing with grandchildren at the play ground. Great day great park.

Halfway between Wilkes-Barre and State College PA. Nice change of pace to get off 80 and take a look. Very small for a State Park - has a boat launch ramp, soccer fields, a bathroom, and loop trail. Lots of biting gnats (last weekend in June) so dress appropriately and consider bug repellent. Likely would be a great place to start or end a float trip on the western branch of the Susquehanna.

Nice spot. Why not take advantage of the beautiful river? Put some picnic tables so you can see the river. Please.
