Rockstar Painting

Bryan painted for us in 2 different houses. The first house he did a decent job except for paint splatter that I just ended cleaning up myself. Our second home which he just recently did was another story. His initial charge was very high & I did talk him down a bit. Not thinking he would come back & use the cheapest paint you can buy. They were also smoking in the house. They left doors & windows unlocked when they left for the day. We were not living there yet. When I glanced around the house the one day I saw a nice amount of dry paint running down the wall. When I pointed it out he got very angry & cocky & said it was probably there from the last painter. Even if it was his job that we were paying him for was to sand it down & make it right. So after that he was not the same. I wanted him done & out. I paid him cash which he asked for. After they left the house & we looked around we found big globs of paint running down the walls all over the place. Electric covers missing off the walls. He didnt spackle little holes in the wall. He just painted over it all. There is just dried paint drippings all through the house. The worst part of the whole job is the paint is just peeling off the walls. You wipe it, touch it, lean something against it. Just peels off like rubber. I called Bryan. Sent him pictures of all the flaws in the paint, the dried dripping paint, etc. He got very defensive. Started yelling at me. Calling me names. Saying I was delirious. Talking very nasty. He said it was from the last painter. Told him I was going to take him to court but my only problem is I don’t have a bill of sale because he wanted his 3k payment in cash. The only thing I can do is file a report with the IRS saying I paid him cash for a job he did for me because thats how he told me he wanted payment. So I will probably go that route. I also trusted him because he painted for me before. Our dream house looks a mess in the paint department because of him. Hopefully we can get another painter in sometime to redo the paint. We have other things we need to fix first. Please beware of hiring Bryan from Rockstar Painting at all costs. He comes across as a nice guy but somewhere along the line he is pretty twerked in that head somewhere. I never much write reviews but this was a hard expensive lesson learned
